Equal Access to Broadband

Need help affording your broadband internet bill?

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a federal program which provides subsidy benefits for qualifying households.

If you qualify, your bill can be reduced by as much as $30/month with the help of the ACP.

As of July 19, 2023:

Equal Access to Broadband (EAB), a local Vermont non-profit, is no longer able to provide assistance with the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP). While we have had success in connecting many customers to the Internet, the volume of customers at this time is not sufficient to justify the overhead of a separate organization.

The ACP is a federal program and continues to be available to qualifying households. The ACP provides up to a $30 discount on internet costs. Households can apply directly for this benefit and do not need a service provider to make a referral.

Applicants do not need to determine their qualification before applying. If you would like to know more about the qualifications, click on this link: https://www.affordableconnectivity.gov/do-i-qualify/.

To fill out an application for the ACP and find out if you qualify, go to https://getinternet.gov/ and click "Apply."

If you need assistance with your application, you can either:

     - call the ACP support line at 877-384-2575 or

     - ask a case manager, care coordinator, home visitor, or other service provider for help at your next visit with them

Equal Access to Broadband, Inc. is a Vermont-based 501(c)3 organization.
